Simin, an experienced graphic designer trained at the National Institute of Design, India, saw traditional printing and mass production as the enemy of individuality - methods that stripped scarves of the uniqueness and character people deserve to wear. She set out to create something singular: a scarf that, once worn, makes you feel like the only person who owns it.
Her answer was to look to the ancient art of silk painting, an art form once confined to galleries and museum walls and bring it onto a wearable canvas; each piece painted by hand, directly onto silk, as an original work of art rather than a reproduction.
Silk itself lends the scarves their versatility - light and breathable in summer, warm and insulating in winter, making each piece as wearable across seasons as it is timeless in design.
Designed and hand-painted in Brisbane, every scarf is a canvas in its own right, carrying the texture, imperfection, and soul of handcrafted art.

For the Love of Silk
A graphic designer turned textile artist, I let my work move fluidly between graphic forms, geometry, and typography - disciplines that still echo through every brushstroke.
My inspiration is drawn from everywhere: the quiet patterns of nature, the boldness of tribal art, the legacy of painters who came before me, and the imagery that lives only in my own imagination.
Because each scarf is painted, not printed, you may find colour bleeds and small imperfections across the silk - not flaws, but fingerprints. They are proof of the human hand behind the work, and the reason no two scarves will ever be exactly alike. Each piece is an original, never mass-produced, never repeated.
This is not simply something to wear; it is a piece of original art to invest in, own, and pass down.
